> Fixed prices for a SharePoint and Power Automate tracker, from $5,000 for one in 2 weeks. What is included, license costs you may already cover, and what to ask any consultant.

Short answer: at 250 High Street, one SharePoint tracker with Power Automate reminders is a fixed \$5,000, built in 2 weeks. Two trackers that share data are \$8,500 in 3 weeks, and three are \$11,500 in 4 weeks; most teams also pay no extra Microsoft license fee for a basic tracker.

## At a glance

| Item | Number | What it means for you |
|----|----|----|
| Daily action limit, Premium | 40,000 per user | Enough for reminder flows on a normal team tracker. |
| Daily action limit, Process | 250,000 per license | A busy flow gets far more room than a user license gives. |

## License costs you may already cover

| Item | Number | What it means for you |
|----|----|----|
| Power Automate Premium | \$15 per user per month | List price, billed yearly. Microsoft says your checkout price may differ. Only needed for premium connectors. |
| Power Automate Process | \$150 per bot per month | List price, billed yearly. Microsoft says your checkout price may differ. This license belongs to a flow, not a person. |

The 45-minute call and a preview are free, and there is no hourly billing.

## My prices, in full

| Package | Price | Time | What you get |
|----|----|----|----|
| One Tracker | \$5,000 | 2 weeks | One tracker for one process. Reminders and late alerts go out automatically. Includes learning how your team works, setup, and a walkthrough for your team. |
| Two Trackers (best fit for most teams) | \$8,500 | 3 weeks | Two trackers that share data. Reminders and late alerts. \$4,250 per tracker. Or start with one and add one later, same \$8,500. |
| Three Trackers | \$11,500 | 4 weeks | Three trackers that share data. Reminders and late alerts. Plus a weekly report for your boss. \$3,833 per tracker. |
| Add a tracker later | \$3,500 for your second, \$3,000 for each one after | About 1 week each | Reminders and late alerts included. |
| Keep Building | \$6,000 a month | Ongoing | For teams that already have a first build. Up to 2 new trackers a month, or the same time spent on changes and fixes. |

The weeks start the day you say yes to the build. Before that:

1. Free 45-minute call. Your team shows me how you track the work today. I ask questions. I will not try to sell you anything.
2. Free preview in 3 to 5 days. I send images of a potential tracker. Your team and I decide: right track, or updates needed?

## Fixed price or hourly: how to choose

- Fixed price works when the job has clear edges. For example: "one list, three views, a reminder flow, and an approval in Teams." You know the cost before you start.
- Hourly or daily works when the scope changes each week, or when you need a person inside your team for months.
- With hourly work, the risk of overruns sits with you. With fixed price, it sits with the builder. Ask what happens if the job takes longer.

## What the market charges

Public rate data for this work is thin.

- UK contract rates. ITJobsWatch tracks UK job ads that name Power Automate. For the 6 months to 19 October 2026, the median is £488 a day. The 10th percentile is £308 and the 90th is £589.
- US rates. I found no public, dated source for US freelance rates I would stand behind. Freelance marketplaces show a wide spread.

An hourly or daily rate tells you little until you know the hours. Ask every consultant for a written total and a written list of what is in scope.

## License costs you may already cover

- SharePoint, and so Microsoft Lists, comes with Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard and Premium.
- Microsoft says Office 365 licenses grant the right to use standard connectors in Power Automate. SharePoint, Outlook, Teams and Approvals are standard connectors.
- Premium connectors need Power Automate Premium, which Microsoft lists at \$15 per user per month, paid yearly.
- Check your own plan with your IT admin before you buy anything.

## Questions to ask any consultant

1. What is the total price, in writing?
2. What is in scope, and what counts as a change?
3. Who owns the list and the flows after the job ends?
4. Do the flows run under one person's account or a shared account?
5. What does support cost after go-live?
